LEADING THE NATION
WITH AMERICA'S BEST SCHOOLS
Public schools are an investment in our future: North Dakota thrives when our kids thrive. Levi Bachmeier is running for Superintendent of Public Instruction to ensure every child—no matter their background or ZIP code—receives an effective education that equips them with the basics they need for college, career, military service, and life.
Levi believes in investing in our children today to secure North Dakota’s prosperity tomorrow. Politicalization of schools must be rejected. Students need high academic and behavioral expectations. Education funding needs to be reprioritized in Bismarck. To make the most of every tax dollar, resources should go into the classroom and not educational bureaucracy.
He believes in a system where students graduate inspired, challenged, and ready for the real world. To get there, education policy needs to be driven by parents and teachers, not Bismarck politicians. Our public schools are good today, but together, we can lead the nation.
Priorities
A BACK TO BASICS AGENDA
A Vision for North Dakota Schools

Levi will lead with one goal: equip every student to succeed. To do that, we must focus on:
Rejecting Politicization of Schools
Rigorous academics grounded in sound fundamentals preparing students for a rapidly evolving future. No partisan agendas.
High Expectations
Effective, motivating, and challenging environments where students are supported academically and school discipline is taken seriously.
Great Teachers
Reprioritize investing in K-12 education to recruit and retain teachers after years of state spending on less important things. Great kids deserve great teachers.
Parental Rights and Responsibilities
Parents who feel informed, involved, and supported—because schools should not raise children.
Efficient, Accountable Spending
It’s not just how much we spend—it’s how we spend it. Levi will focus resources on the classroom, not bureaucracy.
